Heir Apparent - Progressive Power Metal Rock Band

Born in 1984, Heir Apparent is a classic progressive power metal rock band, releasing the albums Graceful Inheritance & One Small Voice in the 1980's, The View From Below in 2018, and EVOL coming later in 2026.

For 2026, Heir Apparent welcomes Thomas Karam as vocalist, and Mike Dimareli on drums. The new lineup will debut in June with shows in Greece, and co-headlining July 3rd at the Golden R Festival in Volos.

Heir Apparent will soon complete four studio albums with four uniquely talented vocalists, continuing their legacy of timeless songwriting from epic rock ballads to aggressive melodic metal. In addition to EVOL, 2026 will bring a reissue of the triple-vinyl Foundations album. 2025 marked another special reissue of "Graceful Inheritance" including previously unreleased bonus tracks from the earliest 4-track reel-to-reel demos. 2021 brought the re-release of the entire catalog in various forms. Foundations I & II, a compilation of rare demos and live recordings, span from 1983 to 2003 on a two CD set. A special edition of One Small Voice remixed and remastered, which contains only songs written as Heir Apparent between 1987 & 1988. This release includes material that did not appear on the original 1989 release. Lastly, a classic edition reissue of Graceful Inheritance on vinyl, CD, and cassette.
